I’m a huge advocate for eating organic. Buying food that has not been heavily sprayed with pesticides and herbicides makes me feel good. Choosing food that is free of growth hormones, and has been grown using environmentally sustainable farming practices, is important to me.
Reducing my exposure to toxins whenever possible has become an even bigger priority during pregnancy. When my baby finally arrives, I will do my best to keep their tiny and growing body free of unnecessary chemicals by opting for organic food whenever possible.
When faced with organic prices, that are sometimes double the price of conventional produce. Opting for organic food when we are trying to feed an entire family, can become a bit difficult.
