Happy Organic Week! It’s Organic Week and this year there are more reasons than ever to celebrate as more and more Canadians across the country are choosing organic. Personally I choose organic because it reduces our exposure harmful chemicals such as herbicides and insecticides.
This is a good thing because these chemicals have been found to be carcinogenic, hormone-disrupting, and can even affect the development of children.
I also feel good knowing that organic farmers follow strict standards that ensure not only our health and safety, but also the health and safety of the environment is the priority.
